Enhancing system learning and school collaboration

Our mission rises or falls in the day-to-day interactions and activities within schools. That’s why empowering school leaders by creating the conditions for high quality, school-driven improvement is the foundation of Lighting The Way 2023+.

One of the key changes we have made in 2023 is the establishment of three school networks, each of which will be supported by a newly created Head of Continuous Catholic School Improvement (CCSI) role.

These networks will enable closer connections and shared learning between schools, more opportunities for collaboration aligned to LTW2023+ and school improvement plans, and—importantly—more tailored and focused support from the Catholic Education Office (CEO) to schools.

The three new Heads of CCSI will directly support the principal and leadership team of each school in their network to progress their identified school improvement goals, plans and strategies and assist CEO teams to know what, when and how support services can best be provided to each school. The new Heads of CSSI are Andrew Heffernan , Anna Cindric, and Daniel Delmage.
